Berkeley Hills

There is no neighborhood called by the name "Berkeley Hills" in Berkeley that I've ever heard of having grown up here. The name has always applied to the hills themselves. I have heard the casual "the hills", typically counterposed to "the flatlands". Also, the link was unoccupied: there was no article for the supposed neighborhood. Template subjects

I still find it odd that so many templates like this exclude highly notable features, sometimes out of a fear that if we add even one article out of a selection (say, chez panisse over the cheese board) we are engaged in POV. I just want to point out that choosing ANY item to include is an act of POV to some degree. I would suggest the following additions: chez panisse, California Memorial Stadium, Edwards Stadium, List of Berkeley Landmarks, Structures of Merit, and Historic Districts, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, First Church of Christ, Scientist (Berkeley, California), Hearst Greek Theatre, Masonic Temple (Berkeley, California), Fantasy Studios, Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, Lawrence Hall of Science, Phoebe A. Hearst Museum of Anthropology, Aquatic Park (Berkeley), Berkeley Rose Garden, César Chávez Park, Indian Rock Park, People's Park (um, duh?), 1923 Berkeley Fire, Consumers' Cooperative of Berkeley, KPFA, Codornices Creek, Strawberry Creek. obviously, sections would be added, like history, etc.(mercurywoodrose) Mercurywoodrose ( talk) 06:28, 22 January 2012 (UTC) reply
