Actually, isn't that all that's necessary? I mean if a player played oneo game in May, his name wouldn't go here, would it? I mean shouldn't the template be for those who played in the World Series and were on the team? Now, if a player were on the 25-man playoff roster but didn't play a game, that's another story. The template lists only 18 players. My guess is that the 1961 WS roster had 25 players. Thus, I think about 5 pitchers and 2 position players are missing.
