Lee

Lee, as the unofficial third man in the band belongs on this template directly below JB and KG. Milchama 16:55, 19 December 2006 (UTC) reply

  • I agree, I think he should be in there as well, although I don't think his real name needs to be listed in the template. Joltman 23:53, 19 December 2006 (UTC) reply
Lee is the only person in this whole Tenacious D group that is a fictional character portrayed by an actor. Sure JB and KG are characters on their own, but that's their real names. I made the JR Reed article, but I think I separate Lee one should be made as well. Milchama 02:02, 20 December 2006 (UTC) reply
I don't think that he deserves two articles. Just use one article to talk about the real JR Reed and the fictional Lee. Joltman 11:45, 20 December 2006 (UTC) reply
Lee and JR Reed are not the same person, one is a character and one is the actor who portrays Lee. One (bigger) example is separate articles for Jerry Seinfeld and Jerry Seinfeld (character). Since both of them are a big part of the D, they should both be on the template. Milchama 12:03, 20 December 2006 (UTC) reply
However Seinfeld and his character are far more notable than Lee/JR Reed. I'm talking in terms of Wikipedia's scope as to what should get an article. Joltman 13:03, 20 December 2006 (UTC) reply
Lee never performed on any of the albums. Yes, a song referred to his character but that is all. I think your like of the D is making you biased. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.157.159.112 ( talkcontribs) 14:10, 20 December 2006
Just because he doesn't perform on an album doesn't mean he can't be on the template. He is still very much associated with the band. Joltman 14:38, 20 December 2006 (UTC) reply

Can "81.157.159.112" please stop deleting Lee from the template? Right now, the general consensus is to keep him on the template. Milchama 17:38, 20 December 2006 (UTC) reply

I'll stop reverting it now that the weight of opinion is against me but, we all here seem to know some stuff about the D, so, if I was to make an entry in the main Tenacious D page, would you help me with it?
