Please add a link to the article on the 2015 Liberal Democrat deputy leadership election: /info/en/?search=Liberal_Democrats_deputy_leadership_election,_2015 Chriseyeone ( talk) 10:03, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
If the Liberal Party (UK, 1989) is included in the "Breakaway parties" section should the Social Democratic Party (UK, 1988) also be included? The new Liberal Party was founded by old Liberal Party members who were opposed to the merger of their party with the original SDP to create what became the Liberal Democrats (initially the Social and Liberal Democrats). The second SDP was essentially the same story from the SDP side, the differences being 1) it took more supporters including MPs and the leader of the SDP 2) It was established much more quickly and before the SDP-Liberal merger was formally concluded. I would appreciate other editors' thoughts on this. Dunarc ( talk) 22:43, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
