I'm curious about the use in this list of numbers, e.g. "William IV of Melton". I haven't seen this usage elsewhere, and their Wikipedia articles don't generally seem to use the numbers, except in the case of the bishops with exactly the same name (e.g. Thomas I and Thomas II). Is there a precedent for the use of numbers for bishops?

I wondered about this too when I updated the template, so I'm going to remove them... if anyone feels this is inappropriate, please revert!
