Befreiungshalle ("Hall of Liberation") is a
Neoclassical monument on the hill Michelsberg above the town of
Kelheim in
Bavaria, Germany. It was commissioned by King
Ludwig I of Bavaria to commemorate the victory over
Napoleon in the
