Template:Infobox combat robot is designed to categorise appropriate information relating to combat robots in their articles on Wikipedia. It collates statistical information about the machines themselves with a section on their combat history; this information cannot be collated in other infoboxes.
The infobox should be added using the {{
Infobox combat robot}} template, as shown below:
image – The name and file extension of an image of the robot.
caption – An appropriate caption for the image, containing more information than just the name value.
alt – An appropriate alternative text for the image, per
WP:ALT.
height – The height of the robot in metres. Do not add units - these are automatically generated by the template.
width – The width of the robot in metres. Do not add units - these are automatically generated by the template.
depth – The depth of the robot in metres. Do not add units - these are automatically generated by the template.
weight – The weight of the robot in kilograms. Do not add units - these are automatically generated by the template.
weight_class – The weight class in which the robot competes (e.g., "middleweight", "heavyweight").
primary_weapon – A short description of the robot's primary weapon (e.g., "flipper", "spinning disc").
secondary_weapons – A short description of any secondary weapons. Do not list dedicated self-righting mechanisms unless they also serve a specific offensive purpose.
maximum_speed – The maximum speed of the robot in kilometres per hour. Do not add units - these are automatically generated by the template.
turning_circle – The turning circle of the robot in metres. Do not add units - these are automatically generated by the template.
ground_clearance – The ground clearance of the robot in millimetres. Do not add units - these are automatically generated by the template. Do not add units - these are automatically generated by the template.
power_source – The robot's power source.
team_name – The name of the team that built the robot if it is substantially different from the name of the robot itself.
team_members – A list of the team members' names.
location – The location where the robot was constructed.
country_of_origin – The country in which the robot was constructed.
total – The total number of battles in which the robot has participated on televised series. Do not include side events, such as pinball/sumo tournaments.
wins – The number of battles the robot has won.
losses – The number of battles the robot has lost.
draws – The number of battles the robot has drawn.
concessions – The number of battles the robot won, but where the team later conceded victory to their opponent.
notes – Any other useful information.
Statistics and other information should be taken from a robot's most recent on-screen appearance in its respective competition.
