  • Length, newness, formatting, adequate referencing, prose---all good. I checked both hook's in-line citations, which were fine: I saw that the political Alt1 hook was understandably close to newspaper-article source but there are no close paraphrasing issues. (I like to see academic sources used, where possible, rather than newspaper accounts, and so further expansion and refinement might try to use a major university library: Cornell has an excellent IR School, for example.) The first hook would be more interesting if you calculated the present worth of 100,000 USD in 1961. Keep up the good work!  Kiefer. Wolfowitz 13:47, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
