• Review: Article has been promoted to GA within seven days of nomination, is long enough and within policy. Hook is properly formatted, within character length, and cited to an apparently reliable source. AGF regarding offline source. The only issues I have are that "mushroom" has a different common meaning, and the full term "mushroom cloud" should probably be used. • I was thinking that not explaining "mushroom" straightaway might make the hook more interesting, god knows that a lot of DYK stuff is boring. • You are definitely allowed to leave the original image in the article and use a cropped version of that image for DYK. Images are cropped all the time so they can be seen better at thumbnail size, sometimes even after the nomination has been promoted and is in prep. I think the version Jon Kolbert suggested is clearly better for DYK, and make it more likely that this will be used in the image slot. However, "another mushroom" is not an adequate caption; I'd suggest something along the lines of "Lascar volcano eruption". BlueMoonset ( talk) 14:52, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
