... that The Sims 2: Apartment Life is not about apartment life? Source: Kramer, Greg (2008). "Introduction". The Sims 2 Apartment Life: Prima Official Game Guide. Prima Games. p. 2.
ISBN978-0-7615-5986-3.
Comment: So -- a bit to say here. This is from secondary analysis of a work, which is generally accepted to pass
WP:DYKFICTION. It's
not independent, but in a sort of roundabout manner. Kramer isn't someone who worked on the game's development himself, but an author who wrote for
Prima Games, whose guides were sanctioned by the games' publishers. Reviewing DYKCR and practice, I think this is okay -- it's a secondary statement from someone who wasn't involved in the game himself.
Article length is fine, moved to mainspace today (which the DYK checker doesn't seem to fully understand). QPQ done, and I'm happy with the nominator's reasoning as to the source (there's an element of "ordinary claims don't require extraordinary sources" here). There's a banner at the top of the article: might be good for an admin to get to that before/while promoting the hook, but not a serious issue. Incidentally, the line of the lead Apartment Life was inspired by player demand both for higher-density living options and for witchcraft is one of my favourite that I've read in a while.
