Comment: When I nominated
2015 Baltimore protests and
Shooting of Walter Scott for DYK, reviewers pointed out issues, dragging on these nominations. To avoid the same fate, I am proposing hooks that do not prompt conflict or advocate something. In other words, I am doing my best to nominate a hook that does not refer any type of controversy.
Thanks
George Ho for nominating :) I would support the main proposal or ALT1, replacing "wrote in her post" with "posted", to make it brief. -

P.S. you could also consider removing the first clause of her quote? Not sure - "In the news… of late" is perhaps not necessary. But I leave that to your judgement. -

Added your suggestion as ALT5. I rearranged the hooks.

George Ho, I'm afraid you're going to have to come up with another QPQ. Captain Assassin had already started the review of that nomination several hours before, and it isn't appropriate to take over an active review clearly being worked on when there are so many unreviewed nominations out there. I hope you'll pick an unreviewed nomination this time. Thanks.

George Ho, the Reina Almon review looks appropriate. Replace the original QPQ with that and this nomination will be ready to proceed.

Full review needed now that QPQ has been submitted.

Right, size and age ok. Earwig's is
here, first two results are mirror sites using WP and others look ok. Language is neutral. QPQ done. ALT4 I think works best as the verb is brief yet there is some context in the statement, so I think that is the one to proceed with. Sentence is sourced and material is faithful to source. good to go.
