Article: This article is new enough (created about three days before the nomination). It is long enough. It is neutral and well-cited. As this article is about a living person, I checked
WP:BLP and I believe it abides by the policies.
Hook: The hook looks good to me, but I would also suggest using "has studied" or "has written about" instead of "has described". I feel like the sense of "describe" it a bit broad here. The hook fact is accurate and appealing to a broad audience.
I don't see how this hook is really interesting—a neurologist describing the brain is somewhat par for the course. @
Philafrenzy,
Whispyhistory, and
TheLonelyPather:, could you please provide a alternative or two?

I understand your point,
AirshipJungleman29. I think the part that's supposed to be funny is the idea of treating a headache without using drugs. Anyways, as the reviewer, let me think hard for some alternate hooks...
I can't think of anything else. Let me know anything that comes to your mind. --

ALT2: ... that Christopher J. Boes identified that
William Osler probably based the neurology parts of
his medical textbook of 1892, on
William Gowers' neurology manual, first published in 1886? "The neurologist Chris Boes has demonstrated that it is likely to be the case that Osler based the neurological portions of his textbook on Gowers’ Manual "

ALT3: ... that Christopher J. Boes reported that after the death of neurologist
Oliver Sacks, it became less common for students to mention Sacks in their neurology resident application forms.?

Few more... thank you for reviewing...

It's interesting because he was describing methods without drugs, which is contrary to how most people think of treating a headache. There don't seem to be a lot of good hooks in this one as a lot of his work is building on that of others. We could consider "that Christopher J. Boes thinks it is OK to wear brown shoes with a blue suit?" We have the picture for that one.

Thanks both. I think I'll promote the original hook and slightly tweak it.
