The Cite OED 1933 template generates a reference for a particular word defined in the corrected re-issue [1] of the first edition of the Oxford English Dictionary, as the most common printing of this edition. For earlier issues of the first edition {{ Cite OED1}} may be used, and for references to the second or third (on-line) editions {{ Cite OED2}} or {{ Cite OED}} may be used, respectively.
