Tellow-e Bala ( Persian: تلوبالا), also Romanized as Tellow-e Bālā, Talū Bālā, and Tellow Bālā; also known as Tellow, [3] is a village in, and the capital of, Siyahrud Rural District of the Central District of Tehran County, Tehran province, Iran. [4] The previous capital of the rural district was Bumahen. [5]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 23 in 14 households. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 13 people in four households, by which time most of Siyahrud Rural District had transferred to the newly established Pardis County. [7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 209 people in 68 households. [2]
