The WTC did not 'open' in 1973!

The WTC began accepting tenants into the first tower upon its completion in 1970. The WTC was open. The second tower was completed in 1972 - and becoming tenanted. The official ribbon cutting opening ceremony was in 1973. This is not made clear at the beginning of the article.

In the Construction section append the following info....

In several episodes of the McCloud detective TV Series you can see the towers under construction especially Series 02 Episode 03 where you can see both towers half built. The opening aerial credits show the bottom of one tower being constructed. 87.75.140.92 ( talk) 17:00, 13 November 2023 (UTC) reply

There is a spelling error for facade in the section 'Destruction'. It has been written as façade instead of facade. Adrij2011 ( talk) 09:29, 23 January 2024 (UTC) reply

Not a spelling error, the cedilla can be used in this context in English, at least optionally. Acroterion (talk) 12:11, 23 January 2024 (UTC) reply
I already changed it for consistency (two other instances of "facade" already in article). Hyphenation Expert ( talk) 12:13, 23 January 2024 (UTC) reply

Plane crash fatalities

It should be noted that 147 people died from the two planes crashing into the Twin Towers. The 157 given in this article includes the ten terrorists on both planes. I've repeatedly seen the total fatality count at the World Trade Center as being 2,753 and I believe this should be consistent throughout. Butterscotch5 ( talk) 13:19, 6 April 2024 (UTC) reply
