A wireless network is any type of computer network that utilizes some form of wireless network connection. There's a few problems with this. 1) It doesn't really say anything= A wn is .... a wn. Examples are needed for clarification. 2) "Any type of" and "some form" are redundant. 3) "Utilize" means "use". I'm just attempting basic copy editing. Bhny ( talk) 21:59, 5 November 2013 (UTC)

Per WP:LEAD the first sentence in an article is only really supposed to define the topic.

I already moved those examples down, and expanded the lead in other ways, so having examples there is now redundant.

And the definition is that a wireless network is a network with wireless connections, i.e. wireless links. A link is not the same thing as a network; it's not actually a redundant definition, although it is a fairly obvious one.

There are plenty of wireless networks out there that consist of a bunch of radio towers with dishes pointed at each other, nearly all wireless networks are a mixture of wired links as well as wireless ones. GliderMaven ( talk) 22:49, 5 November 2013 (UTC)

I don't think "A wn is a cn that uses a wn" is a definition. It is circular. It still hasn't answered the question "what is a wireless network". Which is why it needed expansion. The simple examples help the reader. Bhny ( talk) 00:41, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
