Paiutes in Carson

"For decades Paiute children growing up in northern Nevada were required by the federal government to attend a boarding school in Carson City where they learned English, not Paiute."

Relevance of TV show episode in History section

Is a single TV show episode truly relevant to the history of Washoe county? Could that paragraph be moved elsewhere? (perhaps to another article, or elsewhere in this article)
