Whoever listed the form of government of the United States as "Federal Empire" instead of "Federal Republic" is clearly advancing an agenda. "Empire" seems a far too controversial term. Very funny though...

The US is a country. Even if it has states it's still a country. Most countries have provinces or states or prefectures or whatever, but they're all countries.

I was just comparing the ecomonomy of Ireland and the USA when I noticed that the USA's GDP/PPP was ranked as third. Irelands was ranked as fourth despite being higher...

The US is ranked 3^rd. for GDP PPP per capita, but is ranked 8^th. for nominal GDP per capita. Ireland has a higher nominal GDP per capita but a lower GDP PPP per capita. Signature ^brendel 03:31, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

System of Goverment: Could somebody add the word "Presidential" in there somewhere. It doesn't make sense to list France as semi presidential if the prime example of full presidential is not listed that way. The consistency in the format of the info boxes implies a certain cosistency in the info provided. This article is very important. It is a compilation of information about the subculture of "Military brats" which are more prevalent than you believe.

I disagree. There are many other subcultures in the United States worth mentioning, but this is an article about the United States, not a list of subcultures. In the economics section, it is stated that the US is the worlds largest importer and the 2nd largest exporter. Well somebody should really look into that because the US is actually the worlds largest exporter as well.

Actually, it is you who should take a look at those statistics ;-). The US is the world's second largest exporter of goods, following Germany, and the world's largest importer of goods. Interesting! This article isn't that long afterall, just 64kb-pretty concise considering this article's complex subject matter. Yup. See the main article, Geography of the United States or the source cited in the article for a more complete discussion of the topic. The United States is slightly larger than Canada when excluding bodies of water, and both are slightly smaller than China. When including bodies of water, it Russia, Canada, and then either the US or China, depending on whether or not certain lands claimed by India but governed by the PRC are counted MrZaius ^talk 19:46, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
