Sep 2009: Disputed neutrality of entire "Comparison" section and noted lack of citations. The History section contains more information about the history of the triathlon than about the history of the subject of this article. So I suggest that someone with more knowledge than myself about these two subjects should move some of the material from this section to the corresponding section in the triathlon article.
