Its boundaries are Division Street to the north, Kinzie Street to the south, Western Avenue to the west, and Damen Avenue to the east.
According to
this image, the correct southern boundary is Kinzie, not Chicago. I live south of Chicago and there are plenty of Ukrainian Village street banners and most real estate sites I've come across label many addresses south of Chicago and North of Kinzie as Ukrainian Village. — Preceding

New Hot Spot?
Ask around Chicago and you'll find that Ukrainian Village is the new "hot place" to move in the city for young adults. It's not too expensive, safe, and popular (at least right now). If you know of any sources for this online (mine are just word of mouth around the bars) please post em' here for we can add this tidbit to the article. Thanks!

Don't know, but within the Ukrainian community I know rents are often advertised in Ukrainian only in order to keep the neighborhood's historical character. A losing battle? Hope not. There already IS a Wicker Park.

I oppose because they are different things a Historic District in a neighborhood should have its own page. —The preceding

Merge - I'm not sure how they are different. To my understanding, Ukrainian Village, Chicago and Ukrainian Village District are one and the same entity. The neighborhood/district was given special status by the mayor, so to draw an artificial distinction is unnecessary, unless I am missing something. Further, whether a historical district in a neighborhood should have its page is a whole other issue. On the other hand, props on the work you're doing with landmarks in Chicago. --
