Navigation box mania!

That is a lot of TV market boxes at the bottom. It looks rather unwieldy... any ideas as to how they can be tamed? æle 19:12, 4 December 2005 (UTC) reply

Split out UNC-TV into separate stations

Should we split out the UNC -TV stations into separate articles? CentralTime301 ( talk, contribs) 17:41, 26 October 2019 (UTC) reply

Why? Could you provide a reason? -- WashuOtaku ( talk) 19:18, 26 October 2019 (UTC) reply

Better if it is split out into separate articles. I could possibly make UNC-TV DTV and text (for alternate, its UNC DTV). After saying the ownership, WUNC-TV will have to say its studios/headquarters before its transmitter location; the rest will say just the transmitter location and master control originating from the UNC-TV headquarters in Raleigh. Its better that way. CentralTime301 ( talk, contribs) 21:23, 27 October 2019 (UTC) reply

CentralTime301, Then you would need sourced history for each station. Mvcg66b3r ( talk) 21:41, 27 October 2019 (UTC) reply

Maybe "we" should checkouy the network's history. CentralTime301 ( talk, contribs) 21:46, 27 October 2019 (UTC) reply

UPDATE: I have designed UNC-TV DTV (text) and UNC DTV (alternate, text as well). CentralTime301 ( talk, contribs) 22:53, 27 October 2019 (UTC) reply

@ CentralTime301: There is no reason to break-out this page because all the information about UNC-TV is here. Creating new stub articles would not beneficial. -- WashuOtaku ( talk) 00:48, 28 October 2019 (UTC) reply

UPDATE TO @ WashuOtaku: The least i designed was WUNC-TV. CentralTime301 ( talk, contribs) 15:52, 28 October 2019 (UTC) reply

@ CentralTime301: Still against it. But I guess we should be thankful you at least asked before doing what you felt like doing anyway. -- WashuOtaku ( talk) 23:22, 28 October 2019 (UTC) reply

Frequencies out of date?

Hi! I was curious why I receive WUNC TV with an antenna in Apex pointed at about 110 degrees - and the answer may well be the WUNC-LD repeater listed as being in Raleigh, which is actually in unincorporated Wake County between Garner and Clayton. AntennaWeb.org tells me that transmitter is on UHF 19, but this page tells me it's on UHF 30. I suspect this page is out of date because frequencies shuffled not long ago, but I don't know how to get all the info - I only have this one little tidbit, barely sourced. Maybe someone with more familiarity with the TV information landscape will be able to make an update. -- ke4roh ( talk) 20:00, 30 July 2021 (UTC) reply
