What about the Amtrak Texas Eagle? It makes that trip every day, and stops at both cities. Granted, I have a feeling that not many people use it to commute between Dallas and Fort Worth, given the departure times. But passenger rail service did already exist when the TRE opened in Ft. I added a cleanup header because I think that this article can be vastly improved. I'd like to see more details on rolling stock, including the initial set of refurbished RDCs, Refurbished 1970s Bi-Levels from GO Transit and their new stock from Bombardier. Does TRE use any other former stations besides the Fort Worth T&P Station and Dallas Union Station? I know Tri-Rail uses a lot of former Seaboard Air Line stations. ---- DanTD ( talk) 15:02, 23 March 2009 (UTC) reply

No. All the other stations are new for the line. Some places, like the FW ITC and South Irving are near where the old stations used to be, but are new platforms themselves.

Yes, it was. Unlike Dallas or Fort Worth, that was the only station Irving had. It was founded in 1901 as a railroad town by the surveyors of the CRI.

The new map that was added is slightly incorrect and a bit incomplete. AT Union Station, the Red Line to Westmoreland and Blue Line to Ledbetter aren't listed. THe Green Line to Buckner is, but the Green Line doesn't run its line to Union. At Victory, the Green Line is listed to Carrollton, which is corect, but the Green Line also runs to Buckner from there. I would have fixed it, but do not know how. There was a "citation needed" from February 2010 on Wi-Fi service offered aboard the TRE. I ran a Google search, and while there were a couple stories mentioning planned or previous Wi-Fi service, I could not find anything saying the TRE currently offers Wi-Fi on board. I deleted the uncited sentence; if someone wants to put back something about past or future planned Wi-Fi, or has a source discussing current Wi-Fi, they're welcome to add it in.
