What’s up with the “Trans” name? Where does that come from? Do they realize it sounds like it’s transsexual related?

Trans TV takes the name from 'Televisi Transformasi Indonesia'. They did not have transsexuality in mind, but for very obvious reasons I can see where this is coming from. Also, please note that the article talk space is used for discussion of the article (e.g. grammar, sourcing, etc.) instead of the subject of the article in question, as stated
here. To actually discuss the subject of alleged transphobic/sexual references in the name of Indonesian television networks, please take a look around the
reference desk. Okay byeeeeeeeee...
