Hmm, this article is a stub. I think adding information from Toei's Japanese Interwiki site would help so I feel that it is necessary. So, User:Nihonjoe and User:Ganryuu, if you can help out and expand this article from Toei's Japanese interwiki site, that would be really appreciated. Sjones23 19:51, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
I started an independent translation of the Top section of ja:東映, including an implementation of Template:Infobox Company; some last-fiscal-year stats stumped me due to my own lack of experience with the Japanese language with respect to business terminology. Watch out for an out-of-chronological-sequence History section on the original. - B.C.Schmerker 05:43, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
(For a comparative Translation see User:B.C.Schmerker/Article Prototype4.)
Update and note for User:Nihonjoe: The context for the "11%" and "16%" on ja:東映 apparently refer to quantities of stock internally retained by Toei Company, a financial practice common to several larger corporations worldwide, incl. in the United States. Is this as I estimated; and if not, what is the actual practice referred to in the original Japanese? - B.C.Schmerker 15:21, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
The list of films should be removed, because if it is made comprehensive then it will be thousands long, and the page will be huge. JoshuSasori ( talk) 02:17, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
I added Tōei Kabushiki-gaisha and Toei Kabushiki Kaisha as incoming redirects. Both need appropriate "R from" templates. I'm not sure which ones are best. See Talk:Tōei Kabushiki-gaisha and Talk:Toei Kabushiki Kaisha for a link to all "R from" templates.
