"Identical" is a big stretch. There are a few minor similarities from my perspective. Anyway, it's unclear what specific change you are requesting, but whatever it is, such an observation (and more importantly a proof of "identical") would have to be attributed to reliable published sources. Hi Prestbury+2000, when you refer to categories in discussions, you have to put a colon before the category in the link like this:

[[:Category:Television programmes produced by Associated Television (ATV)]]

If you forget to do this, the category won't display in your request, and instead you'll be adding the talk page to that category. That's why Topher385 couldn't fulfill the request--he saw a blank space after "please add". That said,  Done, I have added the category per your request in this edit. The article goes into detail about its broadcast history here in the UK, but glosses over its broadcast history in the US. The Muppet Wiki suggests that it was picked up by local television in New York three months after broadcast in the UK, but was it popular in the United States? How popular? The Muppet Show aired in most television markets in the U.S. and began airing in September 1976. Since it was a syndicated program, it did not air on the same day of the week or the same time in all areas. I found an ad in Broadcasting magazine which listed over 60 stations that had already agreed to air the show, six months before the broadcast debut. See [1], pp. 32-33. I'm currently trying to drag this page upwards to make it better overall. The page lacks basic history and seems to be over cluttered on minor points. I also hope to add in more ref about the series from the time the series start in the 70s which has to be better overall. Good question. My understanding is that Henson didn't want it to decline in quality and overstay its welcome, so he ended it while ahead. The end dates (except the original UK dates) are somewhat confusing, everyone stated that this show ended in the US by 23rd May but it stated in some sources that it actually ended with the Melissa Manchester episode on 8th June... was that relatable or some kind of a rumour that someone put 8th June there while it was actually a re-run? i hope someone could understand the whole thing, thanks! 86.22.223.111 ( talk) 20:55, 15 October 2022 (UTC) reply

They just didn't like how i add June 8th 1981 as the actual end date, the US dates of Melissa Manchester episode is actually accurate and was put in by HensonCo and they didn't need it, just May 23rd? you could understand that the whole US end date (May 23rd) isn't quite accurate to me, that was Marty Feldman... June 8th is actually the last for the US airings and that is actually Melissa Manchester, Toughpigs know about this, HensonCo know about this even the Muppet Wiki knows about this, if you were still thinking that May 23rd is always the end date of the US airings, then this page should be challenged, thank you folks. 86.22.223.111 ( talk) 20:09, 16 October 2022 (UTC) reply
