This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this band was highly relevant in a genre of music that was important to a generation. Apparently indicating that they are pioneers of a specific genre of music isn't enough clarity for the person that chose to put this up for deletion. I spent a lot of time doing research and gathering information in order to put this article together. If this is deleted it would be wrong and completely unnecessary. Not to mention incredibly frustrating as this is my first contribution to Wikipedia, ever! Plese remove this speedy deletion. I don't understand how an article goes from a Good Article status to a tag for deletion in less than 24 hours. Makes absolutely no sense. .— Astrotube ( talk) 22:47, 24 January 2012 (UTC) reply
