In what way is this article an attack on TEA? The article seems fairly neutral to me, although incomplete. When I worked for TEA in the 80's, one of its main duties was to manage the trust funds that pay the base costs of secondary and post secondary education in the state.

I like the idea of having the information available, but I'm worried that a truly complete list would dominate the article. • What I did was to link to each ESC website and list the counties it serves. The only districts shown in the article are those which are served by a different ESC than others in the same county (Canton and Wills Point in Van Zandt and High Island in Galveston). I added a section on Budget and Enrollment; the aim is to provide at a glance demographic and fiscal data for the agency and the system over time. I found a good source for enrollment nummbers (a TEA report from 2018), but have not been able to find budget information for anything before 2014. It appears that the last paragraph in this section is just a list of faults solely based on opinion and hearsay. There is no reference for any of the points. Using words like "...would downplay..." and "...would include a greater emphasis..." show a completely subjective view relative only to the author and those holding a similar opinion. The paragraph should show objective points to be substantiated. Moreover, these point should not just come down to more words on one side and less words on the other, but more and less actual knowledge and why it is bad to change.
