As TN 1 is State Street in Bristol, doesn't the westbound side of the road travel on the Virginia side of the border? And the median goes right on the border?

@ Snbelote: I'd say the HW RW post means "Highway Right-of-Way". If I had to guess, I'd say Netherland Inn Road and Bloomingdale Road were the original highway. However, I could be very wrong. – Fredddie ™ 11:09, 26 July 2017 (UTC) reply

I recently tried to start an intersection list for this road, but sorting out the route in Memphis is a gigantic nightmare. We have this map saying one thing, and Google Maps saying another.
