In reference to using the word "expert", I would have to strongly disagree with using this word when referring to assessors in general. An assessor need not have any training or background in real estate valuation. Also, this position is not comparable to a real estate appraiser. The experience hours and classroom hours of professional education needed to become a CR (Certified Residentail) or CG (Certified General)is exstensive.
