Find correct name
The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

What River?
There is a canal and aqueduct between the Tagus and the river. If not the Tagus, what river is referred to here?

Arriba Tejo?
Ribatejo comes directly from riba and Tejo, where riba means "bank, shore" (latin ripa), other derivated words are ribeira (<riparia). For instance, in Asturias (Spain) you have the village Ribadesella, literally "shore of the Sella (river)". It is also true that in many romance languages "arriba" or related means "up" or "upper" (from ad ripa), but this is a semantic shift, and anachronic respect of these toponyms.

Galician and Mirandese name
This seems to be copied from the Galician and Mirandese Wikipedias. They just happen to include the words Río and Riu, which mean "river", in the article names. However, that doesn't mean they are essential when talking about the Tagus. --
