Steve definately did win a case. It is referenced in the strip where Opus is being dictated a letter to a former client. Steve states "remember who got you sprung on that technicality". -Dario
Why Dallas?

I'd be interested to know why the author chose 'Dallas' - I'm as certain as I can be that it was a natural choice at the time, as the frat boys at UT were mostcommonly Dallas or Houston, with the minority from other citys.reply
I think it was the name of a person Breathed knew.

I live in Florence, Kentucky, and there is
an attorney here named Steve Dallas ("Steve" - as opposed to Stephen - according to the sign out front of his office), though i haven't located a web site for his law firm, and don't know anything about the guy, except that i believe he may be about five years older than Mr. Breathed, according to a cursory search, revealing a Classmates listing for him at the local high school here. No idea where he went to college.

They are awesome (really). This article (on Steve Dallas) needs more of them. (They're good.) —Preceding
