Starved Rock murders

I was wondering why the history section does not discuss the Starved Rock murders of 1960. They are of particular notoriety http://articles.chicagotribune.com/1985-03-17/news/8501160090_1_starved-crime-rock Nnnudibranch 05:01, 8 May 2018 (UTC)

Late to the party but I have the same question. Beeblebrox ( talk) 05:36, 9 January 2022 (UTC) reply
I've added a brief mention of the murders and the HBO docuseries. Beeblebrox ( talk) 21:25, 9 January 2022 (UTC) reply

Hotel Plaza

Hi, I'm getting ready to create a Wikipedia article for the Hotel Plaza archaeological site. When I try to create the article Hotel Plaza Site it directs me to the Hotel Plaza section of the Starved Rock State Park article.

My material is FAR too involved to fit into the Hotel Plaza section of the Starved Rock State Park article; because I will discuss all the artifacts as well as contextual evidence of plant and animal food remains, and discussion of the archaeological cultures that were present, and it's a whole different subject matter really from the main Starved Rock article.

What I will do is to tweak the article name to "Hotel Plaza (Ls36) Site", to include the archaeological site number, so it won't redirect to the Starved Rock article. I'll include a link on the Starved Rock article to the new article.

Hopefully that will work for everyone! Please let me know if there's any input. B1deroo ( talk) 01:26, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

B1deroo, Just write the article at the redirect page (turning it into an article instead of a redirect), and link the new article to this main article See, WP:SPLIT. -- Alanscottwalker ( talk) 09:56, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply
