Two things!

1. I fell out of tree at this park. 2. I swear to God, literally on the Bible itself, that I scared a terradactyl in some trees near the eastern border of the park. This was all in 1987. Sierraoffline444 ( talk) 20:47, 13 March 2010 (UTC) reply

New Section: Location and Climate and Facilities and Visitor Services

Being a State Park I think it's pretty important to add more information on the Park itself and how people would find if it they were to be interested in going. This section of the article could be taken right from the website which states:

Location and Climate: "Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is located 15 miles west of Las Vegas, via Charleston Blvd., in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

At 3,800 feet, the ranch is usually 10-15 degrees cooler than the Las Vegas Valley. Temperatures range from below freezing to above 100 degrees, and winds gusting down Sandstone Canyon are not uncommon. The summer season usually brings a few thunderstorms and Flash floods. Winters are cold, with occasional snow showers."

Facilities and Visitor Services: "Main Ranch House: The main ranch house is open daily from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Here the visitor will find information about the ranch and surrounding areas, and can take a self-guided tour of the ranch house interior. Park Docents are on duty to answer questions."

There is also information about guided tours, entrance fees, picnicking, and group use areas on the website that could potentially be added to the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hrndfrg13 ( talkcontribs) 18:34, 15 March 2011 (UTC) reply
