When examining the Southern Sierra Miwuks informants in Sylvia Broadbent's Southern Sierra Miwuk dictionary [1] their genealogy was Casson Yokut [2] and not Miwuk. Casson Yokuts are a separate group than the Southern Sierra Miwuks. [3] Yosemite Indian 09:21, 4 August 2007 (UTC) reply
