Response to talk page request

The reason the word embassies was there, was because there are a lot of embassies and consulates in south kensington for major countries like france, spain, korea, estonia, israel, iran, thailand, and netherlands. https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-venezuela-embassy-uk-south-kensington-50384639.html. I disagree that South Kesington is considered south of the A4, rather it is South of Kesington High Street. Additionaly, South Kensington is all, not part, of SW7, and some of W8 also. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Akalra1187 ( talkcontribs) 20:09, 27 April 2006.

Yes. I'd fully agree with that. Cromwell Road, which disects it, eventually joins up with the M4. Maybe that what they're thinking of. Chelsea Tory 20:58, 16 December 2006 (UTC) reply

Borough administration

I must assert that the South Kensington district is considered almost entirely within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The exact boundaries of it may be somewhat hazy to most, but speaking as a local resident it is inaccurate representation merely to state that the district is shared evenly between RBKC and Westminster in an archaic opening sentence on this page. In reality, Westminster's claims to the area are equally recognised as 'Knightsbridge'. It is acceptable to state that Westminster encompasses a small easterly part of the district (estimate probably 15%) around the Ennismore and Princes Gate Gardens at the top of Exhibition Road, however the vast majority of the district is in RBKC around South Kensington tube station, Old Brompton Road leading down to The Boltons, and Brompton Cross.
