I remember when I started the article on U.S. Route 17 in South Carolina, and I erroneously added South Carolina Highway 32 as a hidden state route. I'm starting to think I might've got that info from this list. --------- User:DanTD ( talk) 14:53, 1 May 2016 (UTC) reply

Highways 50+ not in table?

I was wondering why highways above 50 were not in the table? Or have people just not had the time to finish the project? Rocketmaniac ( talk) 13:41, 10 December 2007 (UTC) reply

Secondary roads

Why aren't secondary roads mentioned? According to this, the state DOT owns 62% of the road miles in the state. Doesn't such a large network of secondary roads even merit a mention? 38.100.35.16 ( talk) 20:27, 7 December 2010 (UTC) reply

Page 14 (printed Page 184) of this document should be a good enough source, but I'll let others decide. Mapsax ( talk) 13:17, 28 September 2012 (UTC) reply
Better late than never, but secondary roads should get a mention somewhere, but I think there are too many for us to try to list accurately. If there were a capstone article about the South Carolina state highway system, then that's where I'd put a paragraph or two about secondary roads. Since that doesn't exist yet, this is where it should go. – Fredddie 22:56, 15 February 2017 (UTC) reply

Why no interstates?

One would expect a "List of numbered highways in South Carolina" to include interstates. -- Cornellier ( talk) 22:29, 15 February 2017 (UTC) reply

@ Cornellier: There has been a push of late to correct misnamed lists like this one, so don't expect it to be misleading for much longer. – Fredddie 22:51, 15 February 2017 (UTC) reply
