Somebody keeps changing Roy Barnes' picture to nonsense, and it immediately (usually within 5 minutes) gets reverted. According to history here, Sonny Perdue's picture was changes to that stupid Boss Hogg picture well over 6 hours ago and has not been reverted. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.25.140.160 ( talk) 23:49, 17 March 2007 (UTC).
Is the Squidbillies mention really appropriate here? I vote no.
Just removed a large amount of the article that is uncited and controversial in nature. This is a requirement of Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons policy and must be removed immediately per said policy. I know many of these items have been well-publicized so it should be relatively simple to find reliable sources. It's the responsibility of the editor adding controversial info to cite it, other editors are only expected to remove it if controversial and uncited per Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. Please do not re-add the material without including citations (in-line preferably) for that material, or it will continue to be removed.
The majority of the remaining article is also in need of citations. I marked several items that need it the most in my opinion. -- Roswell native ( talk) 01:59, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
I added a note to the end of the section discussing Perdue on a list of least ethical governors to indicate that the nominating organization is a self acknowledged liberal progressive operator within the progressive movement. This is required for balanced discussion and NPV on a living person and should not be removed unless it is clearly included in the preceding paragraph and properly cited. Veriss ( talk) 17:48, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
Praying for Rain: Why does half the paragraph about an allegedly controversial act such as praying for rain discuss record flooding afterwards? Doing so clearly insinuates that the flooding was a direct result of this controversial act, is a false argument and may even be independent research since the linkage is not cited. It also appears to be added fluff intended to add a larger facade to what would otherwise be a very skinny statement. I will remove it soon unless it is rewritten to indicate it's purpose for being tacked onto the prayer controversy. Veriss ( talk) 17:57, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
After a re-read found the offending verbatim text already included in a contextually appropriate location. The reasonable assumption is that the second occurrence of identical text was merely a good faith copy and paste error. I deleted the repetitive text concerning flooding and emergency response plans from the rain prayer section. Veriss ( talk) 18:40, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
§=====Ethics group named Perdue one of America's worst governors=====
In its April 2010 report, progressive ethics watchdog group CREW - Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington named Perdue one of 11 "worst governors" in the United States because of various ethics issues throughout Perdue's term as governor. [1] [2] [3] Some of Perdue's ethics lapses cited by the watchdog include:
Note: The Billings Gazette reported that CREW, with George Soros as a financial backer, defended itself as a liberal progressive organization: "We are progressive," said Naomi Seligman, the group's deputy director... "We do work within a larger progressive infrastructure." Seligman suggested her group is the progressive counterweight to Judicial Watch, a group from the right that calls itself "a non-profit, public interest law firm dedicated to fighting government corruption."
Play fair, comment here and gain consensus before you post edits that potentially malign a living person.

Hello editors! USDA here. Is it possible to switch out the current official photo on this wiki to the one attached? Flickr - Sonny Perdue
Here at USDA, we use the field portrait more often than the official photo and it would be great if that could happen here too? If not, no worries. Just a suggestion.
Thanks!
