The Magnolia Building in Dallas was the tallest building west of the Mississippi from 1922. — Preceding

The Magnolia Building is only 399 feet tall and it was never the tallest building west of the Mississippi.
This is tagged for photos needed because even though the
Commonscat has lots of photos, there are none of the Chinese Room (which is part of the public tour) and the
penthouse (which is private). --
