This article has been given a rating which conflicts with the
project-independent quality rating in the banner shell. Please resolve this conflict if possible.
Earlier versions of this article were fully fleshed out, but now its just a sad skeleton. The history section was 4x longer, it had detailed sections on Admissions, Campus Facilities, Student Life, Athletics etc. all the things you would expect in a college article. Maybe somebody deleted indiscriminately, or there was a botched fix to vandalism. Either way, the talk section was empty so I know there was no discussion beforehand. I'm going to take a bite of this, I'll go through the history and salvage anything relevant and with cites. If there was a valid reason for all the removals, please discuss here before taking action Thank you! --

It looks like a big chunk of the History section was deleted by an editor in one fell swoop in 2023, apparently due to not having enough citations. I can restore some of it, with added citations.
