Proposal: merge this information onto main skewness page

This information does not stand alone. It both depends and expands upon the information present in the main article. Logically, it should be part of that article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 198.103.184.76 ( talk) 17:04, 15 March 2007 (UTC). reply

Risk should not be included in mathematical/statistical definition

Skewness risk denotes an economical problem and should not be included in the mathematical/statistical definition of skewness. Rgomes1997 14:30, 1 July 2007 (UTC) reply

Agreed.-- I think the inclusion of this article onto the main skewness page gives both subjects a better understanding. I agree that skewness risk does denote an economical problem but the fundamental content is one of general statistics. It should obviously have it's own section, but should be included ( Arvindeyunni ( talk) 20:44, 7 December 2007 (UTC)) reply

merger might be not good

skewness article can just take care of skewness the concept itself while skewness risk is related to skewness, but not a part of it. Jackzhp 02:12, 13 July 2007 (UTC) reply

I agree with it not being merged. It is an important aspect of the theory, but it is stand alone in its economic importance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 156.56.171.110 ( talk) 19:45, 8 October 2007 (UTC) reply
