Oppose "Karahi" The
only use of this spelling is this suggestion on Wikipedia. Google News has more hits for "Karai" versus "Karhi" (
51 vs
32), but official sources like his Facebook page and
Bar-Ilan University profile use Karhi, so I wouldn't be opposed to that. However, I would be interested to know how this transliteration came about, as I've never seen ayin become an "h" before (it's usually an a or e, sometimes combined with a glottal stop).

You're right, so be It. I will note that Google has 2,520 results for
Shlomo Karhi compared to 132 results for
Shlomo Karai.

Clarification: I meant that it is a good idea to change the article name to "Karhi".
A Few Explanation: See -
