This article is POV in that it distinctly favors the Velky faction, has only critical references to the Russell group. suggests that the original BIA hearing examiner's decision was reversed owing to political pressure, omits any description of the errors and flaws that were found in the original evidence presented, and omits any discussion of the alleged outside support to the Velky faction's efforts, believed by some to have the goal of opening a profitable casino. I have gathered a lot of sources from the New Fairfield Free Public Library, and i have created articles for Chief Squantz and Chief Waramaug but i could use insight from others, especially people who are Schaghticoke, in determining the relationship through time of the different tribal names like Potatuck and Schaghticoke and when each were used.
