Sanford station (Amtrak) →
Sanford station – This is a
WP:TWODABS situation, between this and
Sanford station (SunRail), and this one is the
WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. It receives twice the page views (
[1] vs.
[2]), and being an intercity rail station, it's likely to be what most readers think of when they hear "Sanford station" (the other one is commuter rail). The SunRail station can be distinguished with a hat note.

Comment. I thought that "Sanford Auto Train station", without the Amtrak parentheses of your first move, would have been a better choice, considering the content of the article and signage which does not include the location name. That is what most readers really think of. This also applies to
Lorton station at the other end of the route.

I see a few sources using "Sanford Auto Train station", but not as many as simply "Sanford station".--

This was just a thought about the previous move earlier today, but the problem is that you have double shifted station names like this several times now. Please take a little time to think things through first.

This article only moved once, to this title. The proposed move would eliminate the two-article dab page at
Sanford station.--

Strong Oppose - and while I prefer returning to the previous names, Secondarywaltz has a valid argument against this proposal. ---------

Why previous names? Are you going to dispute the naming convention in
WP:USSTATION at every proposal? If you don't like it, take your arguments there.
Secondarywaltz (

Oppose per common sense and utility to users: there are two stations in
Sanford, Florida one for Amtrak, one for SunRail. People who go to the wrong station as a result of us ambiguating one of them are not going to thank us. And again
WP:TWODABS allows two items on a dab.

Oppose per In ictu. Pageviews as primary topic determinant are unreliable. --Regards,

station address
The station is not located at the end of W8th Street; there is nothing there but empty land. Access to station is about 500ft north of 8th Street. (I do not know how to paste an image from Google Maps.) I think in yonder place was located the now demolished Amtrak passenger station. --
