Looks like a nice place, but the article is seriously under-cited:

History
  • Last half of first paragraph uncited.
Geography
  • Almost all of first paragraph uncited.
  • Second, third, and fourth paragraphs completely uncited.
Ecology
  • Last paragraph uncited.
Flora and fauna
  • First and third paragraphs uncited.
Currency
  • Completely uncited.
Public transportation
  • First, second and fourth paragraphs uncited.
Major highways
  • Third and fourth paragraphs uncited.
Port
  • First paragraph uncited.
Broadcasting
  • First and fourth paragraphs are uncited.
Sports
  • "The region is known for its avid surf scene." A scene can't be avid, that's a human emotion.
References
  • There are at least 10 dead links. [1]

I'm not sure the referencing issue alone can be addressed within the span of a GA review, but I'm putting this article on hold to find out.

Given the lack of effort to address any of my concerns I am now closing this review. The work needed to get this article to meet the GA criteria is considerable. Malleus Fatuorum 00:40, 25 October 2011 (UTC) reply
