Why no information on the role of Roy Barnes in the 2001 redistricting?

In 2001 Roy Barnes and Democrats in the Georgia General Assembly engaged in a process named "Save the white Democrats". In effect, they created shared districts and limited the number of seats held by black Democrats. This is very well documented; see: [1].
