Secretary of State Offer
I removed the following statement from the Political Career section "In 1853 Senator Hunter declined President Franklin Pierce's offer to make him Secretary of State." This is not referenced, the name of the president was originally Millard Fillmore until a recent edit, and there is an article for
William Hunter (Assistant Secretary of State) who was active at that time. Source material for that section makes no reference to this event.
