Overcategorization

I think this article is overcategorized, it has a main category, Category:Ramsar Convention, and even so it's directly included inside 198 other categories! -- UAwiki ( talk) 09:19, 8 March 2014 (UTC) reply

this is because its an international treaty, and each signatory has a category. the only way to reduce the categories is to subdivide treaties by topic or year or other criteria in addition to by nation (ie: environmental treaties signed by the US). i dont see that happening, so we are stuck with an article smaller than its categories!(mercurywoodrose) 50.193.19.66 ( talk) 17:50, 29 January 2015 (UTC) reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Ramsar Convention. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{ cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{ nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Unexplained {{ COI}} tag

@ Wikishovel: I don't see any evidence of a "conflict of interest" in this article. What is the reason for the cleanup tag that you added to this article? Jarble ( talk) 05:24, 2 March 2017 (UTC) reply

@ Jarble and Wikishovel: I think Wikishovel was talking about the following editor, and here's also the date of that editor's most recent edit:
June 26, 2017‎ Powell.Ramsar
The biographical article that they created also has a connection to this article, by the way.
User:Powell.Ramsar ( talk), please describe your connection with the subject according to the instructions in the article's hatnote. Also, please start adding edit summaries, which are very helpful when trying to figure out why a person made an edit. Thanks! — Geekdiva ( talk) 23:24, 12 October 2017 (UTC) reply
