I suggest we add the following info about pollution either in the introduction, or in 7.1
Pollution is the largest cause of of death in developing countries. [1]Exposures to polluted soil, water and air (both indoor and outdoor) killed 9 million people in 2012. 8.4 million of them in low- and middle-income countries. Worldwide, pollution kills one in seven people. [2]
