I'm restoring the mention of the subject as a fashion designer in the lead. As much as I dislike long lists of occupations, Pharrell is undeniably a fashion designer. His work goes far beyond routine fashion collaborations; he is the Louis Vuitton men's creative director, replacing Virgil Abloh, which is a rather prominent position in the field. I wish to add to his genres: funk, soul and rock, as I believe he has contributed enough to those genres for them to be mentioned, particularly his work with the band NERD.
