I find the third to last paragraph of this article, where the editor interprets Easy Rider at length, to be in the nature of commentary and neither biographical nor encyclopedic. It is too specific to that film to be appropriate to this actor's biographical article, and belongs, in my opinion, in the talk page for Easy Rider. Swinterich 03:34, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
"committed suicide in 1950 when Peter was 11 years old" - it states he was born in 1940, so there's no way he could have been 11 by 1950. ( clem 16:15, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC))
There reference to the 1974 film "Open Season" leads only to the 2006 film and other links in the disambiguation page. In other words, there is no entry for that film in wikipedia. Hi I'm Mark! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.29.83.65 ( talk) 13:33, December 11, 2009 (UTC)
There are seven mentions of singer-songwriter Gram Parsons in this brief article. There were perhaps two mentions that I found in Fonda's autobiography, and I was looking for them. True or not, this is excessive for an encyclopedic article. I am skeptical of a previous editor's claim that Fonda chose Parsons, who had little or no acting experience, as the lead actor for Easy Rider, and "begged" Parsons to take the role of Captain America. Huh? What is the source for this? It's not Fonda's autobiography. Also, the "while it has never been uncommon..." language or comparisons between the shallowness of actors as opposed to rock musicians is POV. Who agrees? Disagrees? Swinterich 13:14, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
I found this in the final paragraph of the article, I have no idea what part of this is supposed to be saying. Hopefully, someone can clue me in.
Here is the paragraph I am referring to:
"He also lent his voice talent to the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas as the hippie, The Truth. The Truth owns a jar of green goo, which gives him a lot of power; in his mind."
Is this some kind of vandalism? WacoJacko 08:34, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia stated that Peter Fonda was born in 1940. But Brockhaus + Encarta Encyclopaedia state that the year is 1939. Any other sources? -- Werner Gladow ( talk) 09:19, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
His date of birth would be germane because a "dropout" at the height of the Vietnam War would have been drafted quickly unless Fonda's connections and money allowed him to dodge the draft somehow. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.49.20.187 ( talk) 22:17, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

Why does the article say he died today? He discovered a dead body, but as far as I know, he didn't pass away. 205.166.218.68 ( talk) 21:28, 13 January 2011 (UTC) Aaron
Has this guy stopped acting? Why does his acting career abruptly end in 2011. I believe that someone just said that the actor himself -- is not dead. BigMac 15:06, 27 February 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Borninbronx10 ( talk • contribs)
The article initially states that he shot himself in the stomach and later states a friend shot him in the chest for the same incident. Which is which? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.195.41.249 ( talk) 01:10, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
the below two tweets indicate that Fonda is now attempting to incite people to rebel against the authority of the United States and disquise it as a spontaneous mass gathering..

Wanna stop this fucking monster? Really wanna stop this giant asshole? 90 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE STREETS ON THE SAME WEEKEND! THESE REPUBLICAN ASSHOLES ARE ALL IN ON IT! THE CHIEF ASSHOLE IS HAPPY WE ARE ALL VERY UPSET. WE HAVE TO GET EVEN MORE ANGRY WITH THESE REPUBLICANS

It’s more than a protest! 90 million people in the streets on the same weekend works. I can’t be the organizer for they’ll arrest me for conspiracy to commit sedition. This must be like a spontaneous event without seeming to be organized by me and we have to make this happen NOW

This needs its own section now, as his comments have earned him the name "domestic terrorist" by the border patrol for the threats he made against their children. So yeah, whether his words are on wiki word for word, or on this link anyone can read: https://bpunion.org/featured/forgotten-actor-peter-fonda-is-a-domestic-terrorist/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:147:C002:D83A:F488:8CE3:D08:23A3 ( talk) 16:08, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
He attempted to spark a pseudo-event and disguise it, just because he doesn't like President Trump or the US immigration policy.. That content has been removed by others, but it is true. Let us eat lettuce ( talk) 19:45, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
Should Fonda's creepy paedophile/pro-child sexual abuse comments be under "politics", rather than having its own section dedicated to the controversy? I don't know of any political ideology (with the possible exception of anarchism) which thinks paedophilia is a good thing. Given the track record of Hollywood and sexual abuse and the fact that Fonda is a Hollywood actor, this could be more of a Hollywood "culture" thing than politics. How about Fonda's defence of Roman Polanski after he was arrested for raping and sodomizing a 13 year old girl? [1] [2] sure this is old news but definitely falls under the paedophilia. Let us eat lettuce ( talk) 12:32, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
Okay, for what it's worth, I'm going to remove your febrile shitstirring about this guy under WP:BLP. I consider the stuff you guys are adding in very questionable, particularly since you are trying to float the idea that Fonda is "pro-child sexual abuse". This is supposed to be the guy's biography, not a collection of the tittle tattle you have been enjoying on "True Pundit". Perhaps we could have an eye to what would be said about him a year from now rather than focus on what's got you excited this week? Grace Note ( talk) 17:52, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
I did not initiate this paedophile line here. I only added the Roman Polanski reference here in TALK just because it may be possible. I believe that he is being political, esp. considering that Fonda claims all REPUBLICANS are in on it.. Let us eat lettuce ( talk) 18:40, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

In the section "Twitter controversy", please shorten the sentence "The Secret Service opened an investigation based on a report from the Trump family occupying the White House." to read "The Secret Service opened an investigation based on a report from the Trump family." The longer verbiage is not found in the source given, and could be read as an attempt to sneer at Donald Trump as merely "occupying the White House" rather than being President. Regardless of the original editor's intentions, that part of the sentence is not neutral. 50.248.234.77 ( talk) 13:42, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
Page is semi-protected so I can't fix what appears to be a grammatical error. Under the career section in the following paragraph:
In 1966, Fonda was arrested in the Sunset Strip riot, which the police ended forcefully. The band Buffalo Springfield protested the department's handling of the incident in their song "For What It's Worth". Fonda sang some and in 1968 recorded "November Night", a 45-rpm single written by Gram Parsons for the Chisa label, backed with "Catch the Wind" by Donovan song, produced by Hugh Masekela.[16].
I believe it should read ..."Catch the Wind", a Donovan song. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SJones5922 ( talk • contribs) 13:18, August 17, 2019 (UTC)

Hello I added a quote from the site Screen Comment, I site which I edit. The cite was unceremoniously removed by someone and I reject the explanation given for doing so. I would like this citation reinserted. First, I state my case:
(1) How do you distinguish between a "site" and a "blog." What is it that qualifies, in your view, Screen Comment, as as blog? Are blogs not allowed to contribute to Wikipedia? (2) You incorrectly state that anyone can publish to Screen Comment. While it is true that anyone can publish to a blog, if the blog has been set to do so, this is not the case for Screen Comment. Screen Comment, a movie review website in existence since 2007, is a traditional vertically-structured organization with the editor and founder, myself, and contributors who have been vetted and approved. They send their contributions to me, I edit them, and publish them.
Here's the link to my site: https://screencomment.com/
Please let me know if I can reinsert this quote
Best,
